About

Hello and thanks for stopping by! My name is Kassi and I hope to make your life easier by saving you time and money.

First thing's first, I am a stay-at-home mom to a little girl, born June 2012, and soon to be married to the most wonderful guy I know. I spend my time singing the Itsy-Bitsy-Spider, crocheting, and wondering how such a little girl can make such a big mess.

Being a stay-at-home mom means we have one main income source to support us (minus little jobs I do here and there), which also means money can get a little tight at times. Thankfully, my guy and I know how to save money. One of the biggest areas we save in is the grocery department. Feeding myself, my hardworking man, and our growing toddler generally runs us about $50-$100 a week. I thought this was a pretty normal budget for a family our size, but one day a mommy page I frequent asked readers how much they spend on groceries a week. I was shocked to see families the same size as my own spend $200-$300 and upwards. When I posted how much I spend each week they began to ask how I did it. This made me realize maybe my frugal ways weren't such common knowledge, so here I am to show you how I do it and how you can too. Whether you are feeding yourself or a big family, I hope you can take some tips away and leave the grocery store with your wallet a little fatter than last week.
